Drainfield Installation
Drainfield and Leach Field Installation in Ocala
The drainfield is where treated effluent returns to the soil, and it is the part of a septic system most likely to fail in Florida. Beraonline builds gravel trench fields, plastic chamber (gravelless) fields, and engineered mound systems, each sized from the perc rate so wastewater disperses without surfacing. When a field near Silver Springs Shores starts backing up after a storm, we can often replace it before it damages the rest of the system.
Why Wet Season Fields Fail
A drainfield needs unsaturated soil beneath it to work. During the June to September rains the water table climbs, and a field that sits too low loses the room it needs to disperse effluent. That is when you see soggy ground or slow drains. We measure the seasonal high water table first, then build the field high enough, adding a mound of sand and gravel where a conventional trench cannot meet the four foot separation.
Our Process
We evaluate the soil, confirm the perc rate, and design a field that fits your lot and passes county review. We set the distribution box level so effluent splits evenly across every lateral, lay the field to the permit, and grade the surface to shed rain. A typical replacement off SE Maricamp Road wraps up in a couple of days.
